I am currently working on two interrelated proposals:

* to create Software for people with marginal Internet access so they might easily download all the activity from an online community such as Minciu Sodas (letters, newly edited wiki pages, chat transcripts, typically 1 MB zipped per week) and upload their responses

* to create a Flash Drive Editor that would integrate two flash drives, a standard computer keyboard, and a monochrome text terminal (24 lines by 80 characters) so that participants with marginal Internet access might edit the text files on their flash drives and swap files.  We have a name and a website Includer and have submitted a proposal to the Knight News Challenge.
